Hey There!
I’m Tushar Warrier, a dedicated scientist with a fervent passion for the intricate realms of genomics, biology, and sustainability. By day, I devote my expertise to pioneering advancements in genomic technologies and developing innovative analytical tools that push the boundaries of scientific exploration.
But my journey doesn’t end there. I also wear the hat of a philosopher, driven by a relentless curiosity and a commitment to understanding the broader implications of science in our world. My work extends beyond the laboratory, as I actively engage in creating transformative platforms and products designed to address some of the most fundamental challenges in science today—challenges that, when met, have the potential to profoundly enhance human life.
My Journey
I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biotechnology from VIT Vellore and IIT Kharagpur, two of India’s premier institutions. Driven by a deep-seated interest in the molecular mechanisms governing life, I pursued a PhD in epigenetics and genomics at ASTAR in Singapore, where I honed my expertise in cutting-edge research. Currently, I serve as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Generative Genomics Program in the Wellcome Sanger Institute - one of the world’s leading research institutions. In parallel, I am also the Founding Scientist + Advisor at Tracer.bio (https://www.tracer.cloud/), a pioneering bioinformatics startup committed to revolutionizing data-driven insights in life sciences.
